We haven't even attempted to go camping as a family all these years.Scott has always preferred the cabin setting. Natalia requested that we go camping for the night of her birhtday, and when Scott was all about it I was excited. It is pretty coveniant that we can drive a half hour up the canyon into full on camping territory. We had a great time. We borrowed Travis and Andreas huge tent and set it up while our tin foil dinners were cooking in the fire. The dinner was simple yet delicious with hamburger, onion, carrots,potatoes and seasoning. After dinner we played and went on a walk. The kids found a dog that they played with for awhile.too. We also roasted smores, they are so so yummy with reeses cups, I had like 4. The night went better than expected and we survived our first one nighter maybe we'll get brave and go for 2 next time:)
