My Sleeping Babes

After stake conference on Sunday we were all pooped from our late night before. In the time that I went to lay Natalia down the boys were out!!Isn't it sweet? Like father like son.

This one's for Deena!!

I had Nat take this picture of me(why part of my head is cut off)in honor of Deena. She passed this shirt to me and it reminds me of her preggo belly last summer. It is so comfy and every time I wear it I think of her.I have my 36 week appt. on Monday and I am really feeling like I see the light at the end of the tunnel. My little gavin is definitely 2.He has always been the easiest kid until now. These days he sweetly goes about doing naughty things. For instance at the park the other day he ran straight into the lake.He doesn't understand that there are boundries. I haven't decided whether or not it is a good thing that he has two moms(Natalia and I). Sometimes it's helpful and other times it can be frusterating. Ready or not...#3 is just around the corner.

Found my Camera!

I knew it couldn't have gone far because this apartment isn't that big and we didn't bring very much with us.I thought I had looked everywhere.Last night Natalia announced that she had found the camera.I asked her where and she told me in her babies diaper bag.Little stinker.

Natalia and Gavin on Easter morning hunting for the eggs that the Easter bunny hid.

Here the kids are with Scotty. He joined in with the egg coloring fun.

My brother Austin has been here with us and the kids have had a blast with him!We will have a lot of fun this summer with all of the family that is coming up.

Me with the kids while coloring Eggs.It was the first year that we did it and the kids had a lot of fun with it.

Natalia in her Easter Dress. She is so funny when she tries to pose for pictures. She sort of over-does it.She loves getting dressed up though.(Note:She lost her first tooth on our first night here.)

Happy Birthday Scott!!!

Scott's Birthday was yesterday on March 24th.We had a great day!I made one of his favorites for beakfast. We call them "Dogs".(Bagel with ham and cheese and over-easy egg on it.)After that I went and got my Braces off.Oh does it feel nice to have them off.I guess in a way that was one of his gifts. We then headed to the gym to get in our workout.Natalia had preschool so while she was at preschool we went to Zupas. It is delicious if you haven't tried it! When we got home I made the cake. For all of you that know I am the worst baker ever and something usually goes wrong... well it did.The second layer of the 2 layer cake crumbled. So I tried to fix it by covering it with frosting. It turned out okay.He opened his presents with the kids before opur little date.Scott and I went to the mall and he picked up some new "kicks" as he calls them.We went to PF Changs for dinner and then headed back home for cake and icecream with family and friends in the area.It was a great day!It seemed like my Birthday too! I love Scott so much!I am very grateful for his example and for the person that he is. He devotes so much time to our family! I am so glad that he came to this earth 28 years ago and that we are able to be companions.

Birthday Celebrations!!

Update

We finally were able to celebrate Gavin's B- day with Scott.Scott got back into town on the 5th of March and we actually headed straight to the Dr. from the airport. He had been feeling very sick and asked me to get him an appt. which is so unlike him. I knew something must be wrong.Turns out that after an X-ray his left lung was full of fluid and his right was starting in the same direction. He has pneumonia. They gave him shots two days in a row and started him on heavy antibiotics. The dr. ordered him 10 days bed rest. This is impossible for scott. My goal has been to keep him indoors. He is doing remarkably well on day 4.We have had some rough nights but finally got some sleep last night. If it was me I would be such a baby...but he has done awesome!!It has been hard for me to see him go through this but I feel so blessed that he is on an uphill recovery.Gavin got to celebrate twice...the Saturday before when my parents were in town and the Saturday after when Scott was feeling up to it!

A growing Gavin!

Happy Birthday Gavin!!!

I can't believe my baby is 2! It's a good thing we are having another one soon because it is hard for me not to baby him.I have a special love and appreciation for Gavin. He has a very sweet spirit about him.He has the brightest smile and the sweetest little kisses. On the other hand...They call him the "Tank" in nursery because he is always on the move and nothing can keep him down. These days his favorite thing to do is push his dump truck around and fill it with various things. He also enjoys watching the movie cars and would watch it all day every day if he could. He loves pretty much anything to do with cars, trucks, planes and trains. He looks up to his big sister...although they have their "moments" they really care about eachother and watch out for eachother.WE LOVE YOU GAVIN!!!

I should have taken more pictures but oh well.I love Valentines day!We were able to go out on Friday night to Dinner and a movie thanks to Zach and Deena. It was so nice to be alone and to have that time together.I am so grateful for Scott. He is an amazing husband and father!!I am also grateful for my little munchkins Natalia and Gavin. They bring so much joy and light to my life.Scott is gone for a week in Miami. We have been so used to having him around we all balled on the way home from dropping him off at the airport. Hopefully we survive through the week.I have been so used to having my right hand man around.(This is a random picture of us.We don't have any recent ones.I always seem to take pictures of the kids)

Getting ready for Christmas!!!

I don't know about you...but I feel like time is always slipping away from me.At the end of each day I wonder how another day is gone.I feel like there just isn't enough time to get things done.We have been very busy lately just trying to get ready for Christmas and finishing up some projects on the basement. We have been able to do some fun activities as well.We took the kids to Thanksgiving Point to see Santa Clause and his Reindeer. They loved it!We also made a Gingerbread house as a family and we really enjoy topping off our nights with a cup of Hot Cocoa. We finally got some snow and it definitely feels like that time of year.Natalia is really enjoying preschool and play groups. She has her own sense of style lately that can be pretty eccentric. We try to meet somewhere in the middle.Gavin is so enthralled with cars, motorcycles, planes, trains, ect...We were out to eat the other night and he sat and played cars with his cheese squares for atleast 15 min. straight. It was so cute!!We have been heeding to the Gym every morning at 8:00.They have a nice childrens facility so we all go together. It has been fun and a great way to start our mornings. We will be heading to boise this weekened to spend time with my family. We are so excited to see them and spend time with them.

Workin on the Basement

We has been busy finishing our basement the past couple of weeks.Scott has done most of the work because I don't have a clue what I am doing but we are almost to the fun part.Painting and decorating and getting the furniture. It all has been very time consuming but it will be so worth it.We are hoping to get it done before Thanksgiving. Most of Scott's family will be coming to our place.I feel kind of bad for the kids because we have dedicated so much time to that and taken some of the focus off of them. They like to come down and "Help" though.

We are Home!!!

We are finally back in Utah.It feels so nice to be home.We were actually home for two days and then headed to Rexburg for Spud Harvest. For some reason Scott was craving some farm work.He is the hardest worker I know.He wears me out just watching him.I guess he just needed a change of pace and scenery. He actually is still there and should be back tonight. After Hurricane Ike we headed up to Dallas for a couple of weeks to finish up selling. We then headed over to Bullhead city AZ to see Scott's parents. It was so hot and dry there. We had a good time though. We were able to relax and catch up.It had been 6 months since we had seen his parents. We were also able to spend time with Kurt and Lacey and Lisa.they live in the area.We Headed over to Las Vegas and visited some friends there as well.
We are anxious to get settled in and back into a normal schedule. It has been pretty crazy lately. We have some fun events ahead of us!And I always look forward to the Holidys!!

Summer in Houston!!

We headed down south to Houston the end of April. It was a long drive with the kids but we made it!We came here for the summer because Scott is working for pinnacle security. He has been working his tail off since we got here.I feel pretty guilty at times because while he works... we play! There are 6 other families here that have kids. There are 5 little girls that are Natalia's age and she is loving it!They just cycle from one apartment to the next playing together. We also try to venture out and do fun activities.
Gavin cruises around pretty quickly now.We have to keep the door locked at all times because he always has a quick escape plan.He is very busy and curious. He also is ALL Boy.His favotite things are balls, cars, planes, trains, and doggies. Although we do catch him puting on Natty's tiaras from time to time. He is always smiling and happy even through his numerous falls and face plants. Lately when someone comes over he will go straight to the freezer to grab them a popsicle. He is the welcoming comitee and knows what is needed to endure this Texas heat.
Natalia turned 4 on July 8th.Scott was able to take the day off and we went to the zoo and took her to lunch. We came back home and had a princess party for her with a castle pinata. She loved it!When we first got here...She decided to give herself a haircut while I was in the shower.Luckily it was salvageable and has been great for the summer. She is full of life and always keeps things exciting. She loves everything to do with princesses and barbies.
We are really enjoying our time here.I have been lucky to have My fun sisters(in-laws)here to spend time with.My parents came out to visit the end of july.It was so fun to see them!!We plan on heading back to Lehi the first part of October.

Follow-Up

Our Blog has been pretty abandoned for about 6 months.Pretty sad huh?Hopefuuly I can sort of catch up here. The begining of the year consisted of Natty enjoying preschool and playing with friends,Scott stayed busy with recruiting and traveling. We also made a trip out east to visit Family and friends and celebrated Gavins first Birthday. Those were probably the biggest events. We also were preparing for our summer in Houston. We left for Houston the end of April.

Christmas 2007

We spent Christmas with Scott's family this year in Bullhead City AZ. His parents moved there just this past year. It was different to have a family gathering in a new location but we really enjoyed it.We also enjoyed the weather. The kids played with their cousins .Natalia and Chloe loved dressing up like princesses together. We played games and ate a ton of great food!! It was nice because all of his family was there at one point. It was great to see everyone. Santa brought Natalia a kitchen this year and a Baby Alive. She likes playing mommy.Sometimes we feel like she wants to grow up a little too fast! Gavin got a Teddy Bear and some books. The only bummer was that the kids were sick when we got home.I thing it was the shock of coming home to cold snowy weather. We are all healthy and well now.
