The Beautiful Colter Bay

(According to scott, there is a bear somewhere in there:)

Our annual Labor day weekend with the Schwabs was one again success and as beautiful as always. We call it Colter Bay because that is a nearby spot that the Schwab's originally went even up until the first year we were married, but now they rent out a bigger cabin and 2 smaller cabins at a place called Signal Mountain Lodge right by Jenny Lake. They are both near Jackson Hole WY if you have no idea what I am talking about. It is breathtaking up there and I always love to go. Not as many people were able to make it this year, so that was a bummer, but it was still fun:) I even got to go out and run. I wanted to run all the way up signal mountain, but i was by myself and chickened out 4 miles up, thinking I might see a bear and not know what to do. I know, I know, BIG Chicken!It was a beautiful run though and I felt so at peace. Thanks so much to Scott's parents Sher Bear and Beav for making it happen once again!
